Jorn Winther

Jorn Winther is one of the most accomplished producer / directors in the history of television.

Jorn Winther (Jorn is pronounced Yorn) was born in Denmark, where he studied speech and drama at the University of Copenhagen. He continued his theatrical education at the Royal Theater in Copenhagen, where his mother had danced as the Prima Ballerina.

In Canada Mr. Winther was fortunate to study with Tyrone Guthrie at the Stratford Shakespearean Theater in Ontario, Canada.

After having owned and operated his own dramatic academy in Victoria, British Colombia, the city of Victoria awarded Mr. Winther a full scholarship to Stanford University in Palo Alto, California.

At Stanford Mr. Winther continued his theatrical studies as well as pursuing film and television expertise, and was awarded the Stanford/Lasky Scholarship.

Mr. Winther then was brought to the United States by a media conglomerate, and his remarkable career began:
